For the first time in the history of the Under-21 Euros, none of the eight teams have secured the passage into the semi-finals, just like none of the teams is out of contention for the place in the semis. All final day calculations can be viewed here.

Despite the 2:0 defeats to Belarus and Switzerland, Iceland are still in contention for the place in the semis, although their chances are now slim to none.

The Northerners need to beat Denmark by at least three goals, in which case they would go through if Belarus records a heavy defeat to Switzerland. Having said that, Iceland are 8.00 (7/1) with Bet365 to win this game.

Aron Gunnarsson returns to the side after missing the Switzerland game through suspension, while Johann Gudmundsson could also return after recovering from injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Bjornsson – Jonsson, Fjoluson, Eyjolfsson, Valgardsson – Sigurdsson, Gunnarsson, Vidarsson – Smarason, Sigthorsson, Gudmundsson.

Having lost the opening game to Swizerland, Denmark found themselves in real problems when Belarus took the lead midway through the first half in their second group game.

However, the hosts managed to overturn the deficit and record a valuable win that gives them a good chance to make it to the semi-finals.

All the Danes now need to do is beat Iceland and hope that Belarus don’t beat Switzerland by a one-goal margin other than 1:0. The hosts are 1.44 (4/9) with Paddy Power to win this game.

Forward Henrik Dalsgaard should be fit to play after shaking off minor knock, although he will probably have to settle for a place on the bench.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Andersen – Wass, M. Jorgensen, Bjelland, Boilesen – Jensen, Eriksen, Albaek – Kadrii, Nielsen, N. Jorgensen.
