Lazio coach Edy Reja reveals that his man objective this season is Europa League place despite the fact that his side currently occupies 3rd place in the standings.

The Sky Blues returned to third place in the standings with a routine win over Fiorentina, but Reja doesn’t think his side are good enough to fight for the title.

“Today we have 40 points, therefore are mathematically safe and anything else that we achieve this season will be a bonus,” Reja told the press.

“We’ll battle for the Europa League, as that is now our objective. If we achieve that, then it will have been a great campaign.”

Lazio will have the chance to further close the gap behind leaders Milan as they travel to San Siro on Tuesday evening, with Edy Reja’s side priced at 6.50 (11/2) at Betfair to win the game. The odds on Milan are mere 1.57 (4/7).
