Real Madrid will host bitter rivals Atletico in the Copa Del Rey quarter-finals first leg at Bernabeu and there is no doubt los Merengues are the favourites in this one. Atletico boss, nevertheless, believes his side can prove a worthy opponent for Jose Mourinho’s star-studded team.

Atletico enter the derby game just three days after the embarrassing defeat to Hercules, but Quique Sanchez-Flores expects a response from his players.

“The alarm bells are on following the defeat in Alicante and now we must do something about it at the Bernabeu. Mourinho knows that a wounded team with quality is more dangerous.”

“We have a serious team, very reliable and we plan to maintain that level. I see no reason to think that Atletico are not in a good shape to have any chance of qualifying.”

Let us just remind you that Atletico are priced at 4.00 (3/1) to qualify for the semis, whereas Real Madrid are just 1.20 (1/5) at Paddy Power.
