Leaders Twente carry a one-point advantage over Ajax into the final game of the season, meaning that one point from Amsterdam ArenA would see them defend the Eredivisie title, whereas the hosts need a victory in order to pip the Tukkers to the coveted trophy.

The two teams met last weekend in the KNVB Beker final, with Twente coming from two goals behind to win the game in extra time, and there is no doubt Ajax will now be looking to get revenge for that defeat.

Frank de Boer’s young side have been in impressive form lately, winning every one of their last five league games and they are 1.88 (7/8) with Bodog to make it six in a row.

There are no doubts that Ajax boast one of the most talented squads in Europe, but with the Cup final game already showing they struggle to cope with the pressure, the hosts face a difficult task against very experienced Twente side, especially as the visitors only need one point from the game.

Frank de Boer is still without first choice keeper Maarten Stekelenburg, but his replacement Keneth Vermeer has been in excellent form of late. Rasmus Lindgren is also out, whereas Mounir El Hamdaoui is doubtful with a knee injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Vermeer – Van der Wiel, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Boilesen – De Zeeuw, Eriksen, Anita – Sulejmani, S. De Jong, Ebecilio.

Twente have been in impressive form throughout the season and they look to be on the good road to defend the league title.

The Tukkers had a couple of unexpected slip-ups, which would usually happen after the difficult games in Europa League, but Michel Preud’homme’s team still managed to climb to top of the Eredivisie standings and now have a great chance to win the title.

Seeing they have already beaten Ajax last weekend and that they only need one point to clinch the title, you should bear in mind that Twente are 1.91 (10/11) with Bet365 to finish the season at Eredivisie summit.

Winger Emir Bajrami returned into action after recovering from injury, which leaves Nicky Kuiper as the only absentee.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Boschker – Rosales, Wisgerhof, Douglas, Buysse – Landzaat, Brama, Janssen – Ruiz, L. De Jong, Chadli.
