ARGENTINA-PARAGUAYAfter the two sides shared spoils in the group stage, they will now be vying for an opportunity to battle hosts Chile for the 2015 Copa America trophy.

And while Argentina are widely regarded as favourites, we definitely should not write off Paraguay, especially after they eliminated Brazil in the quarter-final.

La Albiceleste arrived in Chile with a star-studded squad and a clear goal of lifting the coveted title, after coming so close to becoming the World Cup champions.

But, it was their very first match against none other than Paraguay which showed that could prove to be a very difficult task.

While scoring two early goals, Argentina could not hold on to the lead and eventually had to settle for a 2-2 draw in their opening fixture.

The good news is that their back line has since improved, keeping three straight clean sheets, but the attacking players have not been at their best.

After struggling against both Uruguay and Jamaica, Argentina did create a host of clear-cut chances against Colombia, but they just could not convert them and needed penalty shoot-out to go through.

Nevertheless, they remain 1.50 (1/2) favourites to defeat Paraguay in ninety minutes and set up a final clash with hosts Chile.

Gerardo Martino has absolutely no injury worries at the moment, although Leo Messi, Javier Mascherano and Sergio Aguero are all one yellow away from suspension.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Romero – Zabaleta, Garay, Otamendi, Rojo – Biglia, Mascherano, Pastore – Messi, Aguero, Di Maria.

Not too many people expected to see Paraguay reach the final stages of the 2015 Copa America after they ended the 2014 World Cup qualifiers at rock bottom of the South American Zone.

But, Ramon Diaz and his men appear to have built a very good group, where everybody is completely dedicated to the team’s cause, and that has proved to be their biggest advantage.

Due to an embarrassment of riches up front, the coach had no choice but to leave one or two star players out of the starting line-up, but the substitutes never complained and they went on to play very important roles.

As a result, Paraguay progressed from the group stage unbeaten, but many thought the match against Brazil will be the end of the road for them.

However, La Albirroja held the Selecao to a 1-1 draw before winning on penalties and are now priced at 4.50 (7/2) to shock Argentina and reach the final.

Coach Ramon Diaz will have Richard Ortiz back from suspension, while Miguel Samudio has recovered from injury, but is unlikely to start.

Nestor Ortigonza remains sidelined, while Pablo Aguilar, Nelson Valdes and Osvaldo Martinez will be suspended for the next match in case they receive a booking.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Villar – B. Valdez, Da Silva, P. Aguilar, Piris – Gonzalez, V. Caceres, Ortiz, Benitez – Santa Cruz, N. Valdez.
