Real Madrid could use current players Gareth Bale and Keylor Navas in any move for Paris Saint Germain forward Neymar, according to reports.

Marca report that the Brazilian is a transfer priority for Los Blancos ahead of the closure of the Spanish transfer window on 2nd September and could well offer two of their current stars in exchange for the former Barcelona man’s signature.

Neymar has continually been linked with a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu throughout the summer amidst reports he was unhappy in the French capital. The 27-year-old has also been reported to have been negotiating a move back to his former club Barcelona but that seems unlikely considering that arrival of Antoine Griezmann at the Nou Camp earlier in the summer.

Neymar only moved to the Parc de Princes two summers ago in what is still a world record transfer fee. He has made a total of 58 appearances for the club since signing, scoring 51 goals and providing 29 assists. His trophy cabinet has also been added to in Paris having lifted two Ligue 1 crowns, a Coupe de France and a solitary Coupe de la Ligue.

Meanwhile, should he choose to remain with Thomas Tuchel’s men for a third campaign, he is one of the favourites to lead the scoring in France and can be backed at a price of 10/3 with William Hill to be named the top goalscorer come the end of the campaign.
