Porto vs MalagaA last-gasp goal scored in Frankfurt saw Porto set up a Last 16 stage clash with Napoli, who had to work hard to eliminate Premier League side Swansea.

And with both sides looking good at the moment, chances are we will see a lot of fireworks on Thursday evening at Estadio do Dragao.

FC Porto are going through a very difficult season, with the team largely struggling to realise their potential in all the competitions entered.

The Dragons seem to have dropped out of the title chase in Primeira Liga, given they are nine points behind leaders Benfica with just eight games to go.

Porto did qualify for the semi-finals of both domestic Cups, but with Benfica their opponents in Taca de Liga and Taca de Portugal, they clearly face an uphill task.

The team were also eliminated from the Champions League group stages, but at least they managed to pip Eintracht Frankfurt to a place in Europa League Last 16 phase after winning the tie on away goal rule.

Porto are now set to battle very good Napoli side for a place in the semi-finals, with the Dragons 2.30 (13/10) favourites to win the first leg.

Interim boss Luis Castro enjoyed a winning start as his side recorded a 4-1 triumph over Arouca and with no fresh injuries to worry about, he could field an unchanged side against the Azzurri.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Helton – Danilo, Maicon, Ba, Mangala – Defour, Fernando, Eduardo – Quaresma, Martinez, Varela.

Napoli may have suffered a number of slip-ups along the way, but the Azzurri are on the road to make this season a great success.

Rafael Benitez’s charges were not able to mount a serious title challenge in Serie A, but they did well to virtually clinch Champions League qualification and nobody would be surprised if they also pip Roma to the second place in the standings.

Napoli have already defeated the Giallorossi to reach the Coppa Italia final and having also beaten them in the league at the weekend, the Azzurri go into the Porto clash in great spirits.

Rafael Benitez’s side largely struggled in their previous European fixture on the road having been fortunate to avoid defeat at Liberty Stadium, and they are 3.40 (12/5) to share spoils with Porto as well.

The Spaniard will have to make do without winter signings Jorginho and Toni Doblas as they are not registered for the competition, whereas Rafael Cabral, Camilo Zuniga and Giandomenico Mesto remain on the sidelines.

Valon Behrami has made the squad, while Henrique, Lorenzo Insigne and Anthony Reveillere are pushing for starting places.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Reina – Maggio, Henrique, Albiol, Reveillere – Behrami, Inler – Callejon, Pandev, Insigne – Higuain.
