Premier League high flyers Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of agreeing a deal for Netherlands international striker Vincent Janssen, according to reports.
Spurs have made the Dutch Eredivisie top scorer their number one target and they initially had an €18 million bid rejected for his services.
Even though the player publicly slammed his employers for rebuffing said offer, it appears he will be moving to North London after all as Tottenham seem ready to match AZ’s €22 million asking price.
De Telegraaf claims that Janssen will undergo a medical in London during the day and his move to White Hart Lane should be finalised by the end of the week.
Despite the fact that PSG and West Ham also attempted to recruit the 22-year-old footballer, he only wanted to join Spurs from the start.
Janssen should be a very good addition to the Tottenham squad after bagging 27 league goals last term, with Spurs priced at 10.00 (9/1) to lift the Premiership trophy.
