Swansea vs Man CitySwansea City have yet to end their six-match winless run and everything suggests they will have to produce a perfect performance in order to return to winning ways on the first day of the New Year.

Meanwhile, Manchester City remained on the right track thanks to a hard-fought win over Crystal Palace and now arrive at Liberty Stadium full of confidence.

Everybody can see that the Swans are paying the price for their Europa League campaign, with Michael Laudrup’s side struggling to play to their potential on domestic stage.

There is still no cause for concern as the team currently sit in 11th place in the overall standings, although they are mere five points above the bottom three.

Injuries to star players created additional problems for Michael Laudrup, who is attempting to get his side back on track following a six-match winless run.

And even if the 1-1 draw at Villa Park was seen as a step in the right direction, there is little to no value in odds of 6.00 (5/1) offered on home win.

The hosts are still without Michel Vorm, Nathan Dyer, Michu and Gary Monk, with Laudrup set to continue his rotation policy.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Tremmel – Rangel, Chico, Williams, Davies – De Guzman, Canas – Hernandez, Shelvey, Routledge – Bony.

Manchester City have finally started playing to their potential and they are now rightly considered one of the main candidates for the Premier League title.

And while the Citizens were quite impressive at their Etihad from the very start to the league campaign, they just could not hit the ground running on the road.

However, it appears as though the impressive 3-2 triumph over Bayern Munich at Alianz Arena was the turning point of the season, as the Citizens have since recorded five straight victories in all competitions.

Even if many people expected another comfortable victory in the weekend’s game against Crystal Palace, City did well to grind out a narrow win mere 44 hours after the derby triumph over Liverpool.

Considering team’s recent form and the return of some key men, away win needs to be considered at odds of 1.62 (5/8) offered at bet365.

The visitors will be without playmaker David Silva, who is suspended, whereas Sergio Aguero, Stevan Jovetic and Micah Richards continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Hart – Zabaleta, Kompany, Nastasic, Kolarov – Toure, Fernandinho – Navas, Nasri, Milner – Negredo.
