Monday evening’s Premier League action comes from the Liberty Stadium where bottom-of-the-table take on free scoring Liverpool.

The hosts go into the game six points from safety with the three sides above them all picking up points over the weekend though victory here would see them move level with West Bromwich Albion.

Carlos Carvalhal’s side followed up their draw with Newcastle United last time out in the league with victory over Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers in their FA Cup Third Round replay on Wednesday evening.

Kyle Naughton could return after completing a three-match ban with fellow defender Mike van der Hoorn also available having recovered from a hamstring problem though Tammy Abraham continues to struggle with an abdominal injury.

Wilfried Bony grabbed the winner midweek and he can be backed to open the scoring here at a price of 12.0 (11/1) with Unibet while Jordan Ayew is a 17.0 (16/1) chance with Sky Bet.

The home win is as highly priced as the 12.0 (11/1) on offer from a number of firms with the visitors firm favourites at 1.32 (6/19) with Unibet. The draw can be backed at 6.0 (5/1) with Betfair.

Liverpool became the first team to beat runaway leaders Manchester City eight days ago – a result that extended their unbeaten run to eighteen games in all competitions.

Another triumph here would see them tighten their grip on a top four place and see them move level on points with third place Chelsea.

Virgil van Dijk is in line to make his first league appearance for the Reds after shaking off a hamstring strain and Mo Salah has recovered from illness though captain Jordan Henderson is likely to miss out once again.

Top scorer Salah is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 4.33 (10/3) with William Hill with Roberto Firmino a 4.8 (19/5) chance with Unibet.

Jurgen Klopp’s side won both clashes with the South Wales outfit last season before thumping them 5-0 at Anfield on Boxing Day.

Only Manchester City have scored more than the Reds in the league so far this season so you may be tempted to back them to net four or more this time at 4.0 (3/1) with Sky Bet.
