Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that he would love a return to Premier League management in the future.

The former Spurs boss has been out of work since leaving North London almost three months ago, although has been linked to the hotseats at Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Manchester United.

The Argentine, who also enjoyed a spell as Southampton Head Coach prior to his appointment at Tottenham, has said that he is eyeing a return to the Premier League at some point throughout his career.

Speaking on Sky Sports’ In The Pink podcast, Pochettino said: “To be honest, I would love to work in the Premier League. It’s going to be difficult, I know, and for now it’s a moment to wait and we’ll see what happens.

“It’s a moment of recovery, to think about yourself a little bit, and to be ready because in football always something can happen and you need to be ready.

“I’m ready and waiting for a new challenge. I have the belief and confidence that the next challenge will be fantastic.”

He is the most fancied to be the man to replace the under-fire Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United and can be backed at a price 8/11 with William Hill to be appointed as the next permanent manager at Old Trafford.
