Wednesday evening’s Premier League action from Anfield sees Liverpool take on West Bromwich Albion.

The hosts extended their unbeaten run to ten games in all competitions on Sunday, but were only able to draw against rivals Everton.

They slipped out of the top four thanks to Burnley securing a late victory against Stoke City on Tuesday evening and only a victory here will ensure they will climb back into the Champions League qualification places with both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur hot on their heels.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is likely to recall Brazilian duo Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino to the starting line-up after both came of the bench at the weekend though Adam Lallana may have to wait for his comeback despite returning to training and Joel Matip and Alberto Moreno remain sidelined.

Top scorer Mo Salah is widely available at 3.75 (11/4) to open the scoring with Sadio Mane a 5.0 (4/1) chance with Betfred.

The home win is widely available at 1.22 (2/9) with the visitors as highly priced as the 17.0 (16/1) on offer from a variety of firms. The draw is a 7.5 (13/2) chance with Betfair.

The Baggies saw their winless run extend to fifteen games in all competitions last time out falling to a 1-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Swansea City.

They go into this game in the bottom three after Crystal Palace came from behind to beat Watford on Tuesday evening, but will leapfrog the Eagles if they avoid defeat here.

Wingers Matt Phillips and Nacer Chadli remain doubtful with respective hamstring and hip problems while Gareth Barry, Craig Dawson and James Morrison are all out.

Jay Rodriguez is priced at 15.0 (14/1) to get the first goal of the game with Unibet, ahead of 17.0 (16/1) chance Hal Robson-Kanu.

The Reds won both of last season’s meetings between the sides while three of the last four clashes have seen both teams scoring in the game.

You can back both teams scoring here at 2.2 (6/5) with several bookmakers while a home win with both teams scoring in the game is 2.85 (24/13) with Sporting Bet.
