Tuesday evening’s match at Anfield sees Liverpool host neighbours Everton in the 222nd Merseyside derby.

The Reds go in to the game having beaten Bournemouth in the fifth fourth round of the FA Cup, while in the league they have taken seven points from the last nine to keep themselves in the top four.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has a number of first team players out, including defenders Glen Johnson, Jose Enrique, Mamadou Sakho and Daniel Agger and midfield duo Joe Allen and Lucas while Victor Moses will be hoping that his goal at the weekend will earn him another start.

Top scorer Luis Suarez is unsurprisingly favourite to open the scoring at 4.0 (3/1) with Coral, while Daniel Sturridge is a 5.5 (9/2) shot with the same firm.

Liverpool are favourites to take all three points at 1.85 (17/20) with Paddy Power, with Everton as highly priced as the 4.55 (39/11) on offer from 888 Sport. The draw is a <a href="https://www.freebetting.com/bet-365" title="3.9 (29/10)" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"3.9 (29/10) chance with Bet 365.

Everton booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup by easing past League One side Stevenage on Saturday afternoon, while in the league, they are unbeaten in four.

Manager Roberto Martinez will assess the fitness of defensive quartet Seamus Coleman, Phil Jagielka, Sylvain Distin and Antolin Alcaraz and midfield pair Ross Barkely and Steven Pienaar ahead of the game, though Brian Oviedo is out for the season after breaking his leg at the Lamex Stadium at the weekend.

New signing Lacina Traore may feature despite a recent hamstring problem, and the Ivory Coast international is priced at 8.5 (15/2) with a variety of firms to get the first goal of the game while top scorer Romelu Lukaku is a 9.0 (8/1) chance with Ladbrokes.

The two sides out shared the spoils in a six-goal thriller at Goodison Park just over two months ago – the third successive draw between the pair.

As Liverpool are unbeaten in their last thirteen Merseyside derbies at Anfield, and have dropped just two points in their last eight home games this season, you may want to take advantage of Stan James’s offer of 3.3 (23/10) for a home win with both teams to score in the game.
