Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has suggested that the next ten days could be crucial in the club’s season.

City are still competing on four fronts in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. They now look almost certain to be lifting a third league title under Pep Guardiola having gone 12 points clear at the top of the Premier League with a 14-match winning run.

Despite that, the Spaniard has suggested that the next period of matches in the league could prove pivotal in the race for the title and called on his players to continue their impressive run.

He said: “We don’t want to stop. We know how important these 10 days are with Wolves, United and Southampton (at home) before we travel to Fulham.

“If we are able to do what we want to do, it will be an incredible step.”

The club’s pursuit of the league title continues on Tuesday evening as they host Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad Stadium. The Citizens are unsurprisingly overwhelming favourites to win and make it 15 league victories in a row. They can be backed at odds as low as 1/5 with William Hill to claim three points against Nuno Espirito Santo’s men.
