Heung-Min Son receives international clearance

Heung Min SonSouth Korea star Heung-Min Son has been cleared to play for Tottenham, according to the latest reports.

The highly rated footballer joined Spurs in a £22 million deal for Bayer Leverkusen in the final days of the summer transfer window.

And he has now received both international clearance and work permit to represent his new club, meaning he will be in contention for the Premier League clash against Sunderland, where Tottenham are 1.95 (19/20) to claim maximum points.

The 23-year-old proved he arrives at White Hart Lane in great spirits having scored a hat-trick for his country in the 8-0 hammering of Laos a week ago.

Having largely impressed in German Bundesliga, playing for Hamburg and Bayer Leverkusen, the Korean forward is now hoping to make similar impact in English Premier League.

Heung-Min Son made a total of 135 Bundesliga appearances and managed 41 goals in the process.
