Sunday afternoon’s Premier League action kicks off in the West Midlands as Aston Villa host champions Manchester United.

Paul Lambert’s men lost at Fulham last time out to end an unbeaten streak that stretched back to November 2nd, and will hope to secure the three points that could see them overtake David Moyes men.

Libor Kozak and Antonia Luna should be fit to return for Villa, though Ron Vlaar is likely to miss out with a calf injury and Fabian Delph is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season last weekend.

Christian Benteke is 8.0 (7/1) with Ladbrokes to open the scoring with what would be his first goal since mid-September, with Andreas Weimann and Gabriel Agbonlahor each available at 12.0 (11/1) with the same firm.

The home win is 4.8 (19/5) with a variety of firms, with United 1.85 (17/20) with Bet Victor, who have the draw at 3.8 (14/5).

The visitors go in to the game having suffered back to back 1-0 home defeats in the Premier League, but showed slight signs of recovery with a narrow victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in their final Champions League group game on Wednesday evening.

Robin van Persie will miss the game after being ruled out for up to a month with a thigh injury while Marouane Fellaini (back) and Michael Carrick (Achilles) are also side-lined.

Ladbrokes have Wayne Rooney as favourite to get the first goal of the game at 5.5 (9.2) just ahead of Javier Hernandez, who is 6.5 (11/2) with the same firm.

Villa have won just one of their last thirty-five meetings with United, with the Red Devils triumphing 3-2 in last seasons corresponding fixture last November, while their 3-0 win at Old Trafford in April clinched the club’s twentieth league championship.

Three of the Manchester sides’ last four victories over Villa have come without them conceding, and you can back that outcome this time around at a price of 3.25 (9/4) with Sky Bet.

Alternatively, as one goal has been enough to decide their last three games, the 1-0 away win is widely available at 8.0 (7/1).
