Sunday’s Premier League action kicks of at the Emirates Stadium where Arsenal take on Southampton.

The hosts go in to the game on a run of five straight victories in all competitions – the latest of which Thursday evening’s 4-1 triumph in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie with CSKA Moscow.

Back-to-back 3-0 wins in the league have seen them tighten their grip on sixth place while they can move to within two points of Chelsea in fifth with another victory here, with the Blues hosting West Ham United later in the day.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan will miss the game after picking up a knee injury on Thursday evening while David Ospina has been ruled out for three weeks after spraining his ankle in training.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – who was ineligible midweek is favourite to open the scoring at 3.8 (14/5) with Unibet, with Aaron Ramsey a 7.5 (13/2) chance with a variety of firms.

The home win is 1.62 (8/13) with Betfred with the visitors as highly priced as the 6.0 (5/1) on offer from several bookmakers. The draw is a 4.5 (7/2) chance with Betfair.

Defeat at West Ham United in what was Mark Hughes’s first league game in charge kept the Saints in the relegation zone and extended their awful run which has seen them win just once in their last eighteen league games.

However, a return to winning ways here would see them move level on points with seventeenth place Crystal Palace while should they win by two or more goals they will climb out of the relegation zone at the expense of the Eagles.

Mario Lemina has been ill but could feature after returning to training on Friday while Sam McQueen misses out with a groin injury.

Charlie Austin is priced at 8.5 (15/2) the first goal of the game with Unibet with Manolo Gabbiadini available at the same price with several firms.

The two sides played out a 1-1 draw on the south coast back in December with last season’s corresponding league fixture ending in a 2-1 win for the Gunners and you can back both teams to score here at 1.73 (8/11) with Betfred.

However, the Saints did win 2-0 on their last visit to the Emirates Stadium – a League Cup tie in November 2016.
