Saturday’s Premier League action concludes at the Emirates Stadium where Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways against title favourites Manchester City.

The Gunners’ hopes of finishing in first place for the first time in a decade have been dented significantly over the past seven days – managing a return of just one point from games against Chelsea and Swansea City.

They go into the weekend in fourth place – six points behind leaders Chelsea, but can move level on points with City if they take all three points here.

Manager Arsene Wenger remains without a number of his first team squad, with midfielders Abou Diaby, Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil and Ryo Miyaichi joined on the side-lines by defensive duo Nacho Monreal and Laurent Koscielny.

Top scorer Olivier Giroud is 7.5 (13/2) with Bet Victor to get the first goal of the game ahead of Lukas Podolski, who is a 11.0 (10/1) shot with the same firm.

The home win is priced at 3.8 (14/5) with Bet Victor, with City favourites at 2.1 (11/10) with Coral. The draw is a 3.65 (45/17) chance with 888 Sport.

Manuel Pellegrini’s men followed Saturday’s 5-0 thrashing of bottom of the table Fulham with an almost as comprehensive 3-0 win at neighbours Manchester United in midweek.

With Liverpool not playing until Sunday, victory here would see them rise to second place while they could end Saturday on top of the table, but only if they win and Chelsea lose at Crystal Palace.

Sergio Aguero and David Silva are likely to be fit in time to feature, though Matija Nastasic and Micah Richards are both out.

Aguero is favourite to open the scoring at 5.5 (9/2) with most firms, while Edin Dzeko can be backed at a price of 7.5 (13/2) with Bet Victor.

City ran out 6-3 winners when the sides met in Manchester back in December, while they also emerged victorious when they visited the Emirates last January.

With the visitors scoring goals for fun, you may be tempted to back them to get three or more this time around, at a generous 4.0 (3/1) with a number of bookmakers.
