Arturo VidalThe Blues boss Antonio Conte is eager to reunite with his former player Arturo Vidal and is reportedly readying a mega-money offer to persuade Bayern Munich into selling the Chilean star.

Arturo Vidal enjoyed a fruitful collaboration with Conte at Juventus and the Italian tactician never hid his admiration towards the unreservedly brave and courageous warrior Vidal.

King Arturo as he was called in Italy made a switch to Bundesliga champions back in 2015 and could be one the move again as Chelsea are ready to invest big money into signing the 29-year-old.

Spanish media outlet El Mundo Deportivo reports that Chelsea are prepared to invest €50 million to bring the Chilean to Stamford Bridge.

The Chile international has so far played 44 Bundesliga matches for Bayern Munich, adding five goals in the process. The Bavarians are thought to be willing to let their player go as they already have Joshua Kimmich and Renato Sanches as direct long-term replacements for Vidal.

Antonio Conte has identified his former player as the perfect addition to his current squad as Vidal is expected to increase competition for places and level of performance in order to help Chelsea remain on the course towards the Premier League title.

The Blues sit top of the table ahead of the Christmas schedule with six-point difference ahead of the closest rivals Liverpool.

Chelsea are starting of the festive fixture list with a Boxing Day game against Bournemouth they stand at betting odds of 2.45 (29/20) @BetVictor to win to Nil.

Next up for Conte’s men are Stoke City at home and Tottenham away, which will be another great test to Chelsea’s title ambitions.
