Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta praises Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has raved about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after the striker scored against West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday evening.

Aubameyang scored a hat-trick for Arsenal in their 6-0 hammering of Championship club West Brom away from home at The Hawthorns.

The 32-year-old Gabon international striker found the back of the net in the 17th, 45th and 62nd minute.

Arsenal boss Arteta has raved about Aubameyang.

Arteta told Arsenal’s official website about the striker: “I said at the beginning [that] the leadership, the solutions and the tools to win football matches has to come from the senior players. 

“The rest has to be complemented to that with the energy, the vibe and the passion that they bring to the group, and not the opposite way around. I think tonight was a good example.”

Arsenal will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on defending champions Manchester City away from home in the Premier League.

The Gunners can be backed at at 25/1 on Betfair to get the better of Pep Guardiola’s side 2-1.
