Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore has said that he is open to a return to Barcelona.
Traore has been linked with moves away from Wolves – rated at 22/1 by Betfair to finish in the Premier League top four next season – in the summer transfer window.
Leeds United and Liverpool have been strongly linked with the 25-year-old former Aston Villa winger.
Premier League club Wolves are reportedly open to selling the former Barcelona prospect at the right price.
The former Middlesbrough winger has said that he is open to a move back to Barcelona.
Football Espana quotes Traore as saying: “Barcelona is my home. It’s the reality. I grew up since I was 10.
“From here, we will have to manage with my agents and see what role Barcelona wants.”
Traore was at Barcelona as a youth player, but the winger could not establish himself in the first team.
The Spain international made the transfer to Villa in 2015 and then to Middlesbrough in 2016.
Now at Wolves, Traore has established himself as one of the better wingers in the Premier League and is part of the Spain squad for the ongoing Euro 2020 finals.
During the 2020-21 campaign, the winger made 28 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League for Wolves, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.
