Manchester United will be looking to continue their winning streak on Tuesday evening as they welcome an inconsistent Stoke City side to Old Trafford.

The hosts thumped Hull City by three goals to nil at the weekend to secure a third successive league triumph, and another three points here would see them piece four wins together for the first time this calendar year.

Saturday’s result saw Louis van Gaal’s men climb back into the top four, and they could move to within a point of third place Southampton with the victory here.

Angel Di Maria will miss the game after picking up a hamstring injury against the Tigers but captain Wayne Rooney is expected to shake off the knock to the knee he took in the same match.

Robin van Perise, who scored his first club goal in a month last time out is 5.0 (4/1) to open the scoring with Paddy Power, with in form Rooney the same price at Bet 365.

United are odds on for the win with Bet Victor offering a best price of 1.45 (9/20) with the Stoke as highly priced as the 9.0 (8/1) on offer from the same firm. The draw is a 4.75 (15/4) chance with Bet 365.

Mark Hughes’ men narrowly lost to Liverpool at the weekend, and have now taken just four points from the last fifteen available to them.

Nevertheless, they sit in twelfth place and victory here could see them move into the top half of the table.

Steve Sidwell has been ruled out for up to six weeks with knee ligament damage with Glenn Whelan also side-lined though Phil Bardsley is available after recovering from illness.

Peter Crouch and former United man Mame Biram Diouff are each priced at 12.0 (11/1) with Bet Victor to get the first goal of the game.

The Potters ended a thirteen game winless run against the Red Devils with victory over them at the Britannia Stadium back in February, but with the hosts seemingly finding their feet under Van Gaal, you may want to back the home win to nil at 2.38 (11/8) with William Hill.
