Sunday afternoon’s Premier League game at the KC Stadium sees Hull City host league leaders Chelsea.

The Tigers have taken just nine points from the last twenty-seven available and go in to the game following back to back draws with fellow strugglers Sunderland and Leicester City.

Three points here would see them move six points clear of the bottom three with just eight matches remaining, though they have never beaten the Blues in their previous eight meetings, losing eight of those clashes.

Top scorer Nikica Jelavic has been ruled out for up to six weeks after having surgery on his knee, and Tom Huddlestone is suspended while James Chester, Mo Diame and Robbie Brady all returned to training this week but only Brady has a real chance of being fit enough to feature.

Abel Hernandez is 13.0 (12/1) to open the scoring with a variety of firms, ahead of 15.0 (14/1) shot Yannick Sagbo.

The home win is as highly priced as the 8.5 (15/2) on offer from a number of bookmakers, with the visitors odds on favourites at 1.5 (1/2) with most companies. The draw is a 4.35 (57/17) chance with 888 Sport.

Jose Mourniho’s men have drawn four of their last six games in all competitions, a run that includes last weekend’s 1-1 stalemate with Southampton.

Their lead at the top of the table was cut to just three points after champions Manchester City swept aside West Bromwich Albion in Saturday’s early kick-off, but they do have two games in hand over Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

John Obi Mikel is the Blues’ only injury concern, as Willian has recovered from a minor injury he picked up last time out.

Top scorer Diego Costa is favourite to get first goal of the game with Ladbrokes offering the best price of 5.0 (4/1), with Eden Hazard a 7.5 (13/2) chance with Stan James.

Chelsea ran out 2-0 winners when the sides met at Stamford Bridge back in December, just as they did in both meetings last season.

With this in mind, you may be tempted to back an away win to nil this time around at 2.25 (5/4) with Bet Victor.
