Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge could be set for a move to Spanish La Liga during the winter transfer market.

The 28-year-old forward has struggled with playing time under Jurgen Klopp this season and has thus far managed only five starts in the Premier League.

The England international is said to be keen on a move away from the Reds in order to increase his chances of making it into the Three Lions World Cup squad and would be open to a mainland Europe move once the transfer window reopens this winter.

According to reports coming from Spain, La Liga rivals Valencia and Real Betis are both keen on landing the 28-year-old.

Daily Mail adds that a loan deal is an option for Sturridge should Liverpool decide to let their out-of-sorts striker go on a temporary basis.

It is understood that Reds are unlikely to sanction a sale at an affordable price, but could give a nod for a half-season loan deal in order to help their man to kickstart his career.

Valencia could be a great option for Sturridge as a team sitting in second place behind Barcelona with only one defeat in their opening 15 games.

Los Che travel to Eibar next weekend and can be found at 2.45 (29/20) to claim full three points and maintain the chase behind the Catalan giants.
