Viktoria Plzen vs ZeljeznicarZeljeznicar kept the tie alive having lost 4-3 in Czech Republic, meaning they now have a decent chance of eliminating their more illustrious opponents.

Having failed to create a big advantage ahead of the return leg, Viktoria Plzen will be under pressure at the packed Olimpijski Stadion in Sarajevo.

Despite winning the league title in style, Zeljeznicar haven’t really done enough to prepare themselves for the difficult European campaign.

The club chiefs couldn’t prevent three important players from leaving, while their replacements have yet to prove they have the quality to play at this level.

With a number of important players missing the trip to Plzen, the Blues were predicted a heavy defeat in Plzen, but they battled hard throughout the match and ended up losing the game 4-3.

Seeing as how three first team regulars return to the side and taking into account a huge support from the stands, there may be some value in betting on home win at 6.50 (11/2) offered at Stan James.

Benjamin Colic, Muamer Svraka and Srdjan Stanic are all back from suspension, while key attacker Edin Adilovic has recovered from injury.

However, the likes of Josip Kvesic, Nermin Zolotic and Danijal Brkovic remain sidelined, although they are unlikely to be sorely missed.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Hadzic – B. Colic, Skaljic, Kerla, Urdinov – Tomic, Svraka – Selimovic, Jamak, Stanic – Adilovic.

Having further reinforced the squad over the summer, Viktoria Plzen were predicted another successful season, but their first competitive matches haven’t exactly gone as planned.

After the second string side were beaten in the Czech Super Cup, Pavel Vrba’s side could only record a 4-3 victory at the start of their Champions League campaign.

The hosts proved their worth by coming from a goal behind to take a 3-1 lead, but instead of guarding their advantage they continued to attack and were eventually punished by conceding two more goals.

However, with their opponents being extremely fortunate to score three goals in Plzen, Viktoria are rightly considered 1.50 (1/2) favourites with Coral to win the return leg as well.

Having hammered Bohemians 5-0 at the start of their league campaign, the hosts arrive in Sarajevo brimming with confidence.

Boss Pavel Vrba has absolutely no fresh injury worries, meaning 38-year-old Pavel Horvath is again set to start, although forward Michal Duris remains sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Kozacik – Reznik, Prochazka, Cisovsky, Limbersky – Horvath, Darida – Rajtoral, Kolar, Petrzela – Tecl.
