PSG vs ChelseaParis Saint-Germain will be out to get revenge on Chelsea for the unfortunate defeat in last year’s quarter-finals and create an advantage ahead of the return leg at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, the Premier League leaders are brimming with confidence and hope to take advantage of the opposition selection problems at Parc des Princes.

While many doubted PSG’s Champions League credentials in spite of their star-studded squad, the Saints have already proved their worth at the biggest stage.

The French giants reached the CL quarter-finals two times in a row and were pretty unlucky not to make it to the semis at least once having given a very good account of themselves in matches against Barcelona and Chelsea.

PSG have experienced some problems on domestic stage this season, and they continue to trail Lyon and Marseille, with weekend’s 2-2 draw with Caen another blow to their title hopes.

The Saints were two goals up going into the final stages but then had two players suffer injuries after making all three substitutes, with the opposition scoring two late goals with extra two men on the pitch to salvage one problem.

PSG now hope to fare much better when they host Chelsea on Tuesday evening, with home win paying 2.90 (19/10) with 888sport.

The likes of Yohan Cabaye, Marquinhos, Serge Aurier and Lucas Moura are expected to miss out, but Blaise Matuidi should recover in time.

Thiago Motta and Adrien Rabiot are also expected to make the matchday squad, while Javier Pastore remains doubtful with a calf problem.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Sirigu – van der Wiel, Luiz, Thiago Silva, Maxwell – Verratti, Motta, Matuidi – Cavani, Ibrahimovic, Lavezzi.

Premier League leaders Chelsea are in a very good position going into the business end of the season, with one major title already in the bag.

With the Blues seven points clear of their title rivals in the Premiership, they have the courtesy of shifting their focus towards the Champions League campaign.

Jose Mourinho’s charges were handed a tough draw in the first knockout stage as PSG were one of the strongest second-placed sides, but they remain the favourites to go through.

Taking PSG’s important missings into the account, you should know the Blues can be backed at 2.80 (9/5) to win at Parc des Princes.

Jose Mourinho welcomes back star striker Diego Costa from a domestic suspension, while new signing Juan Cuadrado is available for selection.

John Obi Mikel is the only selection worry given that the Nigerian is still recovering from a knee injury, whereas Cesc Fabregas will be recalled.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Courtois – Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta – Fabregas, Matic – Willian, Oscar, Hazard – Costa.
