PSG vs ChelseaHigh-flying Paris Saint-Germain will be looking to prove their title credentials by defeating Premier League giants Chelsea at their Parc des Princes.

Meanwhile, the Blues desperately need to show some improvement following yet another league defeat, but they are not exactly the favourites to win in Paris.

In spite of the heavy spending over the last couple of years, Paris Saint-Germain need to be congratulated for quickly becoming one of Europe’s top sides.

While winning the Ligue 1 title, the Saints impressed in the Champions League last term and almost made it to the semi-finals.

This time they are again closing in on the league trophy, while they have a chance to go one step further in Europe.

Having recorded a 6-1 aggregate win over Bayer Leverkusen in the first knockout round, PSG are priced at 2.00 (1/1) to pip Chelsea to a semi-final berth.

Laurent Blanc’s charges have been in stunning form of late, winning last nine matches in all competitions and they are 2.10 (11/10) to make it ten on the bounce.

The boss has absolutely no selection worries at the moment, but the likes of Verratti, Matuidi, Alex and Maxwell will be recalled.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Sirigu – van der Wiel, Alex, Silva, Maxwell – Verratti, Motta, Matuidi – Cavani, Ibrahimovic, Lavezzi.

After crashing out in Champions League group stage last season, Chelsea have shown improvement this term and they are now in a position to fight for their place in the semi-finals.

The Blues did well to record a 3-1 aggregate triumph over Galatasaray in the first knockout round, but they clearly face a much tougher task against PSG.

The atmosphere in the team is far from impressive with the Stamford Bridge outfit seriously damaging their title hopes with slip-ups against Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.

And with important players Nemanja Matic and Samuel Eto’o missing, there is little value in betting on away win at 4.20 (16/5).

Chelsea have been pretty disappointing on the travels of late, winning just one of last six fixtures, which is another major cause for concern.

Ashley Cole and Marco van Ginkel remains sidelined, whereas Andre Schurrle is again going to be preferred to Oscar.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Cech – Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta – Ramires, Mikel, Lampard – Schurrle, Torres, Hazard.
