Man City vs BarcelonaAfter the embarrassing 4-0 loss at Camp Nou, Manchester City players will have revenge on their minds when they face Barcelona at Etihad Stadium.

The Catalans, on the other hand, have the opportunity to secure their place in the knockout stages with two games to spare, meaning we should see an interesting encounter on Tuesday evening.

Manchester City had a dream start to the new season, but the happy times didn’t last as the Citizens soon began to struggle.

A six-match winless run that ensued included defeats to Tottenham, Barcelona and Manchester United, before the team finally managed to return to the right track.

Pep Guardiola again tinkered with his formation as the 3-3-3-1 system he had previously used at Barcelona and Bayern Munich, but this time it worked as his side enjoyed a 4-0 triumph over West Brom.

Sergio Aguero marked his return to the starting line-up with a brace, while summer recruit Ilkay Gundogan continued the excellent run of form with another two goals.

Manchester City can now be backed at 2.88 (17/9) to defeat mighty Barcelona, and make it two wins on the bounce.

Pep Guardiola is sweating over the fitness of Pablo Zabaleta, but Bacary Sagna and Fabian Delph are definitely out of contention, while Claudio Bravo is banned.

Probable starting line-up (3-3-3-1): Caballero – Otamendi, Stones, Kolarov – Fernando, Gundogan, Fernandinho – Sterling, Silva, De Bruyne – Aguero.

Barcelona have enjoyed another strong start to the season and this is especially true for their Champions League campaign.

While the Catalans trail arch rivals Real Madrid two points in La Liga standings and also have Atletico Madrid and Sevilla breathing down their necks, they have been quite convincing in Europe.

Barcelona won all three Champions League fixtures so far, scoring 13 and conceding one goal in the process, so no wonder they have been made 2.50 (3/2) favourites to win at Etihad Stadium.

The Catalans have not been at their best of late, recording narrow wins over Valencia and Granada, with Rafinha again scoring the winner at the weekend.

Luis Enrique will have Arda Turan back to the side, but he again faces a genuine selection headache with quite a few star players on the sidelines.

The likes of Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, Aleix Vidal and Jeremy Mathieu are all unavailable for selection through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): ter Stegen – Roberto, Mascherano, Umtiti, Digne – Turan, Busquets, Rakitic – Messi, Suarez, Neymar.
