The two giants of European football were tipped to ease off into the knockout stages, but with Shakhtar Donetsk doing so well, the reality is one of them will crash out in group stage.

Chelsea go into the game one point clear of their rivals, but it is Juventus who are in better form at the moment.

This is proving to be a very successful season for the Old Lady given the team are doing really well on all fronts.

While boasting a four-point cushion at the Serie A summit, the Bianconeri can make a giant step towards the Champions League group stages by beating Chelsea at home.

Having already outplayed the Blues at their Stamford Bridge, they are rightly considered favourites in this match, with BetFred paying 1.83 (5/6) on home win.

On the other hand, Juventus can also be backed to qualify from Group E, at odds of 2.00 (1/1) offered at Stan James.

Antonio Conte will have Mirko Vucinic and Andrea Pirlo back to the side after they missed the Lazio game through flu and suspension respectively, with the infirmary finally completely empty.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Buffon – Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Isla, Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio, Asamoah – Vucinic, Quagliarella.

This game comes at a very bad time for Chelsea, with the Blues going through a very rough patch at the moment.

Weekend’s defeat to West Brom was team’s fourth successive setback in the Premier League, while their European showings also leave a lot to be desired.

After losing in Donetsk, the Blues were very fortunate to beat Shakhtar at Stamford Bridge, having been completely outclassed by their less illustrious opponents.

With Chelsea hosting weak Nordsjaelland in final group game, Roberto Di Matteo would be delighted with one point from Turin, so bear in mind draw pays 3.80 (14/5) at Betfair.

Following another poor showing, Fernando Torres is set to be dropped from the starting line-up, and his replacement Daniel Sturridge is 4.50 (7/2) with Coral to score at any time.

John Terry and Frank Lampard continue to miss out, but Ashley Cole is set to return to the starting line-up.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Cech – Ivanovic, Luiz, Cahill, Cole – Ramires, Mikel – Mata, Oscar, Hazard – Sturridge.

If Fernando Torres scores first or last in the match between Juventus and Chelsea, Ladbrokes will refund losing first goalscorer stakes, as a free bet, up to £100.
