HulkBrazilian forward Hulk is expected to start tonight’s Champions League clash against Lyon, according to Zenit boss Andre-Villas Boas.

Having won first three matches in the group stage, Zenit have a chance to secure their place in the knockout phase by winning at Stade Gerland, and they are 3.20 (11/5) to succeed in their quest.

And even though the Russians had doubts over the fitness of star forward Hulk, it has now been revealed that he is fit to play.

But, while the Brazilian has overcome a groin problem, Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay is not in contention.

“Hulk is ready, but Garay is out,” Andre Villas-Boas told reporters. “We are in a good position but we want to qualify as soon as possible.”

Full-back Igor Smolnikov has also returned into action, and he should be recalled to the side with Alexander Anyukov dropping to the bench.
