BVB vs RealThe Champions League final is just around the corner, with Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid so close to the ultimate prize.

With the two sides having played out two entertaining encounters in group stage this term, we could easily see another exciting match at Signal-Iduna Park.

It was only recently that Borussia Dortmund stabilized their form in Bundesliga, making sure to cement the second place in the standings, but their European showings have been absolutely amazing from the off.

The Millionaires topped the Champions League group of death before eliminating Shakhtar Donetsk and Malaga to earn a semi-final berth.

Jurgen Klopp’s side indeed experienced all sorts of problems in the return leg against Malaga, but they managed to score two injury-time goals to secure the progress into the next stage.

The team have since recorded comfortable victories over Greuther Furth and Mainz in the league, and they are 2.80 (9/5) at Stan James to extend their winning run against Real Madrid.

The good news is that striker Robert Lewandowski has recovered from a thigh injury he picked up at the weekend, and he is 2.62 (13/8) at Ladbrokes to mark his return with a goal.

According to the latest reports, both Sebastian Kehl and Sven Bender have recovered from their respective ailments, meaning Jurgen Klopp should have fully fit squad to choose from.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Piszczek, Hummels, Subotic, Schmelzer – Gundogan, Bender – Blaszczykowsky, Gotze, Reus – Lewandowski.

Real Madrid are chasing the elusive La Decima, i.e. their tenth European Champions Cup title, and they are getting closer to their goal.

Los Blancos recovered well from the poor start to the season and managed to return to the right track, with the team now on the road to glory.

Following the controversial aggregate win over Manchester United, Real Madrid eased off to a place in the semis by eliminating Galatasaray, and they have since won both league fixtures.

As a result, los Blancos are 1.45 (9/20) at Sportingbet to make it to the final, but one has to bear in mind they didn’t win any of the two matches against Borussia this season.

Even so, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring goals for fun, they have a chance of getting something from Signal-Iduna Park, with away win paying 2.60 (8/5) at William Hill.

Jose Mourinho was happy to welcome back Luka Modric and Fabio Coentrao, but Marcelo and Alvaro Arbeloa miss out through injury and suspension respectively.

Michael Essien could start at right-back provided he passes a fitness test. Sergio Ramos is another option for the right-back position.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Lopez – Ramos, Varane, Pepe, Coentrao – Alonso, Khedira – Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo – Higuain.
