Arjen RobbenBayern Munich winger Arjen Robben will not be playing again this season, according to BBC Sport.

The Netherlands star only returned from a five-week injury lay-off in the DFB Pokal clash with Borussia Dortmund, but he only lasted 16 minutes on the pitch.

It has now been revealed that Robben tore his calf muscles, and it is clear he will take no part in the business end of the season.

There were more bad news for Bayern, who crashed out of the DFB Pokal after penalties, with striker Robert Lewandowski fracturing his nose and jaw.

However, the Polish forward believes he could make the first leg of the CL semi-final against Barcelona, where the Bavarians are 5.00 (4/1) to win at Camp Nou.

“It’s a few more days till the match at Camp Nou, I really hope I will be able to play,” Lewandowski was quoted as saying.

This means that Bayern could face the in-form Catalans without two top scorers, who have bagged no fewer 42 goals between them this season.
