Arjen RobbenBayern Munich winger Arjen Robben could miss the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against FC Porto, it has been revealed.

The Bavarians suffered a shock defeat to Borussia M’gladbach at Alianz Arena as Manuel Neuer committed two costly mistakes.

And there were more bad news for coach Pep Guardiola with Arjen Robben suffering a torn abdominal muscle, which could see him miss several weeks of action.

The Dutch international is almost certain to miss the Bundesliga derby against Borussia Dortmund, while he is rated doubtful for the trip to Estadio do Dragao, where Bayern are 1.67 (2/3) favourites for the win.

Arjen Robben has enjoyed another successful season with the Bavarians, having managed 17 goals in 7 assists in 21 Bundesliga outings.

The 31-year-old wasn’t as impressive in the Champions League campaign, scoring his only goals in the 7-1 win over AS Roma.
