Sevilla vs BarcelonaEuropa League holders Sevilla will be looking to put a dent into Barcelona’s title hopes as well as improve their Champions League chances by recording sixth straight league victory.

Meanwhile, the Catalans are eager to keep the four-point advantage over Real Madrid intact, but this is probably not the best time to be facing red-hot Rojiblancos.

Sevilla had some high expectations to live up to after winning the Europa League trophy last term, and we can safely say los Rojiblancos have done even better than expected.

It was Unai Emery’s shrewd rotation policy that ensured key players remain fresh for the business end of the season and his side have been absolutely unstoppable of late.

While making it to the Europa League quarter-finals, Sevilla seriously improved their Champions League hopes by recording five straight wins in La Liga.

As a result, the race with Valencia for a fourth-place finish is set to go to the wire and that is another reason why los Rojiblancos can be trusted to give their all when facing Barcelona.

And while the Catalans have been quite impressive this season as well, home win needs to be considered at odds of 5.50 (9/2).

The good news is that key midfielder Stephane M’Bia returns to the side, while Ever Banega, Carlos Bacca, Coke and Aleix Vidal should be recalled.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Rico – Coke, Pareja, Carrico, Tremoulinas – M’Bia, Krychowiak – Vidal, Banega, Vitolo – Bacca.

Barcelona have come a long way when compared to the previous season that ended w/o a single major trophy, and they are still in contention for three accolades this term.

We could say that Copa del Rey title is already in the bag as the Catalans will be playing Athletic Bilbao at Camp Nou in the final, while a four-point advantage in La Liga means the league trophy is theirs to lose.

Last but not least, Luis Enrique’s side face PSG in the Champions League quarter-final, meaning a second treble in club’s history could be on the cards.

And while El Clasico win over Real Madrid was extremely important, Barcelona also had to work hard for the narrow win at Balaidos before hammering Almeria 4-0 last time out.

They will now have much bigger fish to fry, although the Catalans have been made 1.62 (5/8) favourites to defeat Sevilla at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Luis Enrique should have full-back Jordi Alba available for selection, while Thomas Vermaelen is nearing his return as well.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Bravo – Alves, Pique, Mathieu, Alba – Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta – Messi, Suarez, Neymar.
