The game against Sevilla is the final serious hurdle Real Madrid need to overcome in order to clinch the La Liga trophy, with Barcelona hoping los Rojiblancos can do them a huge favour.

The problem is that Jorge Sampaoli’s side have been going through a rough patch of late and are winless in last six away games.

The big strength in depth has played a key role for Real Madrid this season as while the strongest side performed really well in Champions League games, their back ups did a very good job in La Liga.

Zinedine Zidane didn’t hesitate to field second string sides in recent league fixtures, with Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez especially impressive in said games.

As a result, Real Madrid remained level on points with leaders Barcelona, while a game in hand gives them a serious advantage over the El Clasico rivals.

Los Blancos have now secured progress to the Champions League final as they survived a scare in the second leg against Atletico before Isco scored the decisive goal.

Zinedine Zidane is now set to keep faith in his preferred starting XI, as Gareth Bale and Daniel Carvajal continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Navas – Danilo, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo – Modric, Casemiro, Kroos – Isco – Benzema, Ronaldo.

Sevilla are clearly running on empty at the moment after a difficult season, but at least a top 4 finish should not come into question.

Los Rojiblancos hold a six-point advantage over fifth-placed Villarreal with two games to go, and they will host bottom-placed Osasuna on the final day of the season.

Sevilla have been struggling for form of late, losing to Malaga on the road before sharing spoils with Real Sociedad, and it is clear the season cannot end soon enough for the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan outfit.

The visitors also face some selection problems ahead of the trip to Santiago Bernabeu, and we don’t believe they can get anything from this game.

As things stand now, both Vitolo and Sergio Escudero should be ready to play, but Mariano and Vicente Iborra are almost certain to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Rico – Mercado, Rami, Lenglet, Escudero – N’Zonzi, Nasri – Vitolo, Vazquez, Sarabia – Ben Yedder.
