La Liga side Malaga have confirmed reports linking star midfielder Isco with a summer switch to Santiago Bernabeu.
The highly rated midfielders is one of the most sought-after players in Spain at the moment and has seen his name linked with a number of top European clubs.
Malaga director Francisco Aguiar has suggested that Real Madrid are keen on Isco, but they have yet to make an official proposal.
“Real Madrid are interested in signing Isco, but nothing is official yet,” Aguilar told Marca.
“It fills us with pride that a lad who has come through at Malaga has become the player that he is now.
“If he leaves Malaga it will be to a big club and it will be to the benefit of the coffers at Malaga. Clubs that want him will have to meet his buy-out clause.”
The 21-year-old has a contract until June 2016 with los Boquerones and a €35 million release clause.
Real Madrid are 2.62 (13/8) with SkyBet to sign him in the summer transfer window, while Manchester City are 2.50 (3/2).
