Barcelona vs GranadaRelegation-threatened Granada will have a mountain to climb when they host mighty Barcelona, with the Catalans eager to make amends for the Malaga loss.

Having been flirting with relegation for several years now, los Rojiblancos are in a very difficult position at the moment and this could easily be the season when they finally go down.

With 14 games to go, Granada sit deep in the relegation zone, four points adrift of safety and they can only hope their rivals do not increase the advantage this weekend.

Los Rojiblancos ended a ten-match winless run as they defeated Elche a month ago, but they have since picked up just one point from next three games.

And having scored mere four goals in last seven matches, you should seriously consider odds of 1.73 (8/11) offered on Granada not to score.

Having been suspended for two and four matches respectively, Adrian Colunga and Youssef El-Arabi are set to miss out, but they are not the only ones.

Juan Carlos Perez is also banned, while Piti and Emanuel Insua are rated doubtful. The good news is Jeison Murillo and Ruben Perez have resumed full training.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Oier – Nyom, Babin, Mainz, Foulquier – Iturra, Ruben Perez – Bangoura, Piti, Candeias – Cordoba.

Last weeks’ shock defeat to Malaga could prove costly for Barcelona as they now sit four points behind leaders Real Madrid, meaning the Catalans cannot really afford any more slip-ups in the league between now and the end of the season.

Luis Enrique’s side produced a perfect response as they defeated Manchester City on the road in the Champions League, although they will regret not killing off the game with Leo Messi missing last-gasp penalty as well as the resulting header after Joe Hart had saved his spot kick.

This was his third missed penalty of the season, which is definitely a cause for concern, but that is only going to make the Argentine even more motivated when facing Granada.

And while Barca are 1.57 (4/7) for a half-time/full-time win, Leo Messi can be backed at 1.67 (2/3) to score anytime at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes.

Full-back Douglas Pereira has worked with the squad even though he has yet to be given green light by the medical team, and he is unlikely to start against Granada.

Luis Enrique is expected to make several changes to the starting line-up, with the likes of Xavi, Mathieu and Claudio Bravo tipped to start.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Bravo – Adriano, Pique, Mathieu, Alba – Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta – Messi, Suarez, Neymar.
