Real Madrid vs San LorenzoStruggling Getafe will have their work cut out for them when they host leaders Real Madrid at Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Sunday.

Los Blancos may be leading the title chase at the moment, but they have a point to prove having been eliminated from Copa del Rey by bitter rivals Atletico.

This is proving to be a pretty disappointing season for the Madrid side seeing as they currently sit mere one point above the bottom three.

Getafe did really well to reach the Copa del Rey quarter-finals, where they will face in-form Villarreal, but los Azulones just took advantage of an easy fixture list rather then being too impressive.

Quique Sanchez Flores’ charges eliminated Eibar and Almeria, winning three of four Cup matches, but they have been largely disappointing in the league.

Getafe are now winless in eight La Liga games and having taken just four points during that period, they have little to hope for ahead of the clash with Real.

The coach at least managed to rest most starters in midweek’s clash with Almeria, meaning they will now be recalled to the starting line-up.

First choice keeper Vicente Guaita remains on the sidelines, just like important attackers Angel Lafita and Baba Diawara.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Codina – Valera, Naldo, Velazquez, Lago – Leon, Alexis, Rodriguez, Hinestroza – Sammir, Vazquez.

Real Madrid have just suffered the first major blow of the season, having been eliminated from Copa del Rey and it remains to be seen how the team will respond to the disappointment.

Los Blancos have once again failed to defeat bitter rivals Atletico as the 2-2 draw in the second leg was not enough to go through, with revived Fernando Torres scoring a brace at the Bernabeu.

The good news is Real are cruising in La Liga and Champions League, but they are still far away from lifting either of the two trophies.

After suffering their third setback in last four matches, los Merengues will be keen to record a morale-boosting win, so bear in mind they can be backed at 5.00 (4/1) to win by four goals or more.

There are no fresh selection worries for coach Carlo Ancelotti, although Luka Modric and Fabio Coentrao miss out through injury and suspension respectively.

Iker Casillas will be recalled to the starting line-up and that looks set to be the only change to the team that played against Atletico.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Casillas – Carvajal, Pepe, Ramos, Marcelo – Isco, Kroos, Rodriguez – Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo.
