Depor vs CeltaFollowing the 1-1 draw at Estadio Municipal de Anduva in the first leg of the Copa del Rey Last 16 clash, Deportivo La Coruna will be looking to finish the job at their Riazor.

Meanwhile, Segunda Division high flyers Mirandes hope to claim another major scalp after eliminating Malaga in the previous round.

After avoiding the drop by virtue of superior head to head record against Granada and Eibar last term, Deportivo La Coruna were predicted another difficult campaign.

Against all odds, the Galicians enjoyed a bright start to the season and were sitting in European positions not so long ago.

The excellent run of results is now over, as back to back defeats to Villarreal and Real Madrid would suggest, but losing to two of Spain’s in-form sides is nothing to be embarrassed about.

Following the 5-0 loss at Santiago Bernabeu, La Coruna will want to record a morale-boosting victory against minnows Mirandes and they are 1.77 (7/9) to succeed in their quest.

Coach Victor Sanchez is again set to ring wholesale changes to his starting line-up, but Celso Borges and Fabri are definitely out.

Fede Cartabia and Alejandro Arribas returned into action at the weekend, while veteran winger Cani could be back as well.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Manu – Laure, Lopo, Rober, Luisinho – Dominguez, Mosquera – Gutierrez, Riera, Cani – Rodriguez.

Having reached Spain’s second tier some 85 years after the club had been established, it is safe to say that CD Mirandes cannot be regarded as one of country’s top clubs.

The same year when they secured their place in the Segunda Division, los Rojillos made it to Copa del Rey semi-finals, eliminating the likes of Villarreal, Racing Santander and Espanyol before eventually losing to Athletic Bilbao.

Mirandes were pretty fortunate to reach the Last 16 stage this term as they lost to Osasuna in their opening game, only to progress as their opponents had fielded an ineligible player.

The team made the most of the unexpected opportunity and went on to beat Real Oviedo and Malaga before they were pitted against La Coruna.

Mirandes impressed in the first leg to earn a 1-1 draw, and they remain hopeful of winning the tie ahead of the trip to Riazor.

Los Rojillos head into the game on the back of a five-match unbeaten run, and there have been no fresh injury worries for coach Carlos Terrazas.

Probable starting line-up (3-3-3-1): Fernandez – Ortiz, Cantero, Moreno – Eguaras, Ruper, Provencio – Junior, Salinas, Garcia – Velez.
