Barcelona vs ValenciaBarcelona head into the high-profile clash with Valencia in great spirits having hammered PSG in midweek, but the Catalans are aware any slip-up could see rivals Real leapfrog them in the standings.

Meanwhile, los Che opened up a three-point lead over Sevilla last weekend, but they now need to try and avoid defeat at the Camp Nou.

Barcelona enter the final stretch of the season in excellent spirits and still chasing what would be their second treble in history.

The Catalans have all but secured a place in the Champions League semi-finals having defeated PSG 3-1 on the road in the first leg, with Luis Suarez proving the match winner.

And while they will be vying Athletic Bilbao for the Copa del Rey trophy, now it’s time to focus on their La Liga campaign.

Barcelona’s advantage over Real Madrid melted to two points as the Catalans were unable to hold on to a two-goal lead against Sevilla, meaning they cannot afford to slip up vs Valencia as well.

And with the team winning 15 of last 16 matches at Camp Nou, it is hardly surprising they have been made 1.25 (1/4) favourites to see off los Che.

Andres Iniesta is unlikely to be risked as he suffered an injury in midweek, but Dani Alves returns from European suspension.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Bravo – Alves, Pique, Mathieu, Alba – Rakitic, Busquets, Xavi – Messi, Suarez, Neymar.

Valencia have played some great football this season and they definitely deserve a Champions League qualification, but that will not matter much unless they can ward off challenge from in-form Sevilla.

It was Barcelona that helped los Che create a three-point advantage in the race for a top 4 finish, having held los Rojiblancos to a 2-2 draw, whilst los Che eased off to a 3-0 win over local rivals Levante.

The problem is that Valencia have been far from impressive on the road this season, and they could only win one of last six away matches against top table sides.

This is enough to suggest that Nuno Espirito Santo and his men would be quite happy with one point against Barca, so bear in mind that draw pays 7.00 (6/1).

Everybody at the club is hoping that full-back Jose Gaya will be fit to face Barcelona and there is a good chance he will be in the starting line-up after overcoming a hamstring problem.

Nicolas Otamendi returns from suspension, but Enzo Perez and Pablo Piatti (both hamstring) continue to miss out through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Alves – Barragan, Otamendi, Mustafi, Gaya – Parejo, Fuego, Gomes – Feghouli, Alcacer, Rodrigo.
