Real Madrid have announced their first signing since the return of Zinedine Zidane by swooping for highly-rated Porto centre-back Eder Militao.

The 21-year-old has penned a six-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu and will link up with his new team at the start of next season. Los Blancos have spent approximately €50m to bring him to the club after a fantastic season in the Portuguese top-flight with Porto.

He has been one of the star defenders in the entire league so far this season after signing from Brazilian outfit Sao Paulo last summer. He has made 34 appearances in all competitions since arriving, scoring three goals. Militao has also been particularly impressive as Porto reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since the 2014/15 campaign.

In that time, he also made his international debut for Brazil in a 5-0 friendly victory against El Salvador.

He will now concentrate on the rest of his domestic campaign with current club Porto as they aim to lift their second consecutive Liga NOS title. The Dragons currently sit second in the standings on goal difference behind Benfica.

They can be backed to win the league title at odds of 1/1 with bookmakers 10bet.
