Tottenham Hotspur boss Maurico Pochettino has said that his side can still qualify for the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League with a victory over FC Barcelona on the final matchday.

The North London outfit reinvigorated their hopes in Europe’s premier club competition on Wednesday evening with a crucial 1-0 victory over Inter Milan at Wembley. Christian Eriksen scored the only goal of the night but it still leaves Spurs in a precarious position. They all but need to beat Barcelona on the final matchday and hope Inter Milan drop points against PSV in order to qualify and avoid dropping into the UEFA Europa League.

Despite that, Pochettino has said the group is still to play for going into the final round of matches. Talking after the game against Inter Milan, he said: “All is possible in football.

“It will be so tough but we have belief that we can win.

“I expect them to play with their best players. No one is going to give you a present in the Champions League – it will be very competitive.”

Inter Milan are favourites to qualify ahead of the Premier League outfit but Tottenham can be backed at odds of 13/8 with BetVictor.
