Manchester United have been given a big boost in their long-standing pursuit of Inter Milan man Ivan Perisic after learning the Italian giants could be willing to sell for a cut price.
Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils have reportedly held a long-standing interest in the 29-year-old winger and have attempted to recruit him during the past two transfer windows.
CalcioMercato report that Inter could be willing to cut him loose for approximately £31million, alerting United once again. It would see the Red Devils renew their interest in the recent World Cup finalist.
He has been with the Italian giants since a move from Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015 and has been one of the key players at the San Siro since arriving, notching double figures in both goals and assists in the last two seasons. However, he has not quite hit the same heights during the current campaign and has only managed to score two strikes so far.
Perisic will be in action this weekend as Inter take on Frosinone in Serie A at home. Despite his under-par form so far this season, he can be backed to hit the opening strike with odds of 6/1 with bookmakers Paddy Power.
