Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne could be fit in time for the Sky Blues’ title decider against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

The Belgian midfielder has missed the last three Premier League games with a hamstring problem, the latest in a long line that he has suffered with throughout a injury-ravaged campaign at the Etihad. He has only made 11 league starts throughout the 2018/19 season but manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that he ‘could’ feature at the AMEX Stadium after returning to training as his troops look to secure the Premier League title with a win.

Talking in a press conference ahead of the game, he said: “He has done part of training session last two days.”

Guardiola’s men could become the first side since Manchester United in 2009 to retain the Premier League title should they pick up another three points on the South Coast. However, should they drop points, Liverpool, who are only one point behind and play Wolverhampton Wanderers on the day, will be waiting to take advantage.

Despite only hitting two league goals this season, De Bruyne could set City on their way if he plays. The former Chelsea man is at odds of 10/1 with Betfair to score the opening goal at the Amex.
