Udinese vs JuventusStruggling Udinese will be looking to put a dent into Juventus’ title hopes when they host the Serie A leaders at Friuli, with Bianconeri aiming to restore an eight-point lead ahead of the final five fixtures.

This season hasn’t been too successful for the Zebrette, but at least they managed to secure survival thanks to some promising showings in the second part of the league campaign.

Consistency proved to be a major issue this term, with Udinese producing some excellent showings against Italy’s top sides, only to struggle against bottom table teams.

The good run of results that saw them beat Sassuolo and Catania while sharing spoils with Inter came to an end last weekend, as they suffered a narrow defeat at Artemio Franchi.

But, having managed to outplay Juventus in the reverse fixture back in December, there may be some value in backing Udinese not to lose at 2.30 (13/10).

Boss Francesco Guidolin was handed a major boost as captain Antonio Di Natale resumed full training on Thursday, with the evergreen striker set to lead the line.

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is banned, while Giampiero Pinzi and Andrea Lazzari are injured and Maurizio Domizzi is doubtful.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-1-1): Scuffet – Heurtaux, Danilo, Bubnjic – Basta, Pereyra, Allan, Yebda, Gabriel Silva – Fernandes – Di Natale.

Juventus may be closing in on their third consecutive Serie A title, but it looks as though AS Roma are ready to push them all the way.

With the Giallorossi winning their weekend fixture, the Bianconeri currently sit five points clear at the top of the standings, meaning they need to win at Friuli in order to avoid a nervy finish.

Juventus go into the game in good spirits, having recorded another triumph over Lyon to qualify for the Europa League semis, where they will be facing last year’s finalists Benfica.

And having won six of last seven away fixtures in all competitions, keeping a clean sheet in each of those triumphs, the Bianconeri have been made 1.65 (13/20) favourites to continue the trend at Friuli.

Antonio Conte is set to revert to his strongest line-up having rested several starters in midweek, with Fernando Llorente, Paul Pogba and Stephan Lichtsteiner set to be recalled.

Arturo Vidal is unlikely to start as he battles a knee problem, whilst Andrea Barzagli and Simone Pepe continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Buffon – Caceres, Bonucci, Chiellini – Lichtsteiner, Marchisio, Pirlo, Pogba, Asamoah – Tevez, Llorente.
