FIorentina vs RomaItalian giants AS Roma have moved to admit that they would be powerless to prevent star player Miralem Pjanic from joining rivals Juventus.

The Bosnian midfielder has been linked with a number of top clubs in the past and the Bianconeri appear to be in the race as well.

And with his release clause standing at €38 million, AS Roma sporting director admit there is nothing they can do if Juventus match said clause.

“It would be a delirious thought from Juve, it has nothing to do with me. I didn’t offer Pjanic to Juve,” Sabatini told Pagine Romaniste.

“Pjanic has a release clause. Roma do not negotiate for Pjanic, but if they should activate the clause…”

Miralem Pjanic has been one of league’s most consistent performers in recent years and he has so far managed 30 goals and 46 assists in 185 competitive outings for the Giallorossi.

Juventus recently lifted their fifth straight Serie A trophy and they can now be backed at 1.73 (8/11) to see off AC Milan in the Coppa Italia final.
