Parma vs NapoliIn spite of a three-match losing run, Parma are still in contention for European positions, but I Ducali cannot really afford not to get anything from the Napoli game.

The Azzurri look set for a third-place finish, but having beaten leaders Juventus last time out they will want to build on that result at Ennio Tardini.

Parma are enjoying one of the most successful seasons in recent years, and their fans are hoping the team will finally clinch European qualification after a number of unsuccessful attempts.

Roberto Donadoni’s side have been exceeding expectations throughout the season, although their recent poor run is threatening to ruin their top 5 bid.

Parma did lose last three league matches, but having faced Juventus, Lazio and Roma away, we cannot say they should have done much better.

The difficult fixture list is set to end against Napoli and if I Ducali can win that game, they will be in a very good position to clinch Europa League qualification.

Seeing as how they are unbeaten in last nine home games, you should know Parma are priced at 1.60 (3/5) not to lose.

Roberto Donadoni faces a genuine selection headache as Amauri and Alessandro Lucarelli are banned and Walter Gargano and Antonio Cassano are doubtful.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Mirante – Cassani, Paletta, Felipe, Molinaro – Acquah, Marchionni, Parolo – Biabiany, Cassano, Schelotto.

It is fair to say Napoli have failed to live up to the expectations this season, but everybody at the club will be happy with another Champions League qualification.

Sitting nine points behind second-placed Roma and 12 points in front of fourth-placed Fiorentina with seven games to go, the Azzurri don’t exactly have a lot to play for at the moment, but they are not letting that worry them.

Rafael Benitez’s charges produced one of the best performances of the season to beat Juventus 2-0 and having been eliminated from Europa League they will want to win their remaining league fixtures.

Napoli will be vying Fiorentina for the Coppa Italia trophy, but there are four league games coming before the high-profile encounter.

And with the Azzurri in pretty good form, they can be backed at 2.40 (7/5) to win at Ennio Tardini and put a dent into Parma’s top 5 hopes.

Camoli Zuniga and Christian Maggio are nearing their return, but goalkeeper Rafael Cabral has been ruled out for the season.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Reina – Henrique, Fernandez, Albiol, Ghoulam – Jorginho, Inler – Callejon, Hamsik, Mertens – Higuain.
