Torino vs MilanHaving recorded an away win over Sampdoria on Cristian Brocchi’s debut, AC Milan will be looking for more of the same when they host relegation strugglers Carpi.

The Biancorossi hammered Genoa to remain above the relegation zone, and they arrive at San Siro hoping to further improve their survival hopes.

Despite arriving at the club after a very successful season with Sampdoria, Sinisa Mihajlovic was unable to prove his worth at AC Milan and he has now been replaced by Cristian Brocchi.

Chances are the former fans’ favourite will only remain until the end of the season, but he appears to have already brought some improvement.

AC Milan ended a five-match winless run in his first game in charge, defeating Sampdoria on the road to remain in the hunt for Europa League positions.

The Rossoneri now have a perfect opportunity to make it two wins in a row, and they have been made 1.50 (1/2) favourites to see off Carpi.

Andrea Poli and Jose Mauri are vying for a chance to replace the suspended Juraj Kucka in the starting line-up, while M’Baye Niang remains sidelined.

Luiz Adriano returns having recovered from a bout of flu, whereas Carlos Bacca and Mario Balotelli should continue up front.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Donnarumma – Abate, Alex, Romagnoli, Antonelli – Bertolacci, Montolivo, Poli, Bonaventura – Bacca, Balotelli.

Newly promoted Carpi have found it hard to adapt to the demands of Serie A football, but the strong finish of the league campaign may just prove enough for survival.

Just when it seemed that straight return to Serie B was inevitable, the Biancorossi produced several very good performances in a row to leave the bottom three.

Back to back wins over relegation rivals Frosinone and Hellas Verona seriously improved their survival hopes, but they were again in difficult position after defeats to Sassuolo and Chievo.

Carpi, nonetheless, produced a perfect response, hammering Genoa 4-1 to stay one point clear of revived Frosinone with five games to go.

The Biancorossi now travel to San Siro to face AC Milan, but 2-5-9 away record cannot exactly give them plenty of reason for optimism.

Riccardo Gagliolo misses out through suspension, whereas Zeljko Brkic, Igor Bubnjic and Eddy Gnahore are all out injured.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-1-1): Belec – Poli, Romagnoli, Suagher, Letizia – Pasciuti, Bianco, Cofie, Di Gaudio – Lollo – Mbakogu.
