A place in the Coppa Italia semi-finals will be at stake when Lazio host Fiorentina on Tuesday evening at their Stadio Olimpico.

With both sides winning their Serie A fixtures at the weekend, chances are we will see an interesting clash between two very good teams.

Lazio have been enjoying a successful season so far, and they did very well to keep up with the impressive Napoli, Juventus, Inter Milan and AS Roma in the league.

The Biancocelesti currently sit just two points behind Champions League positions, while they have a game in hand on the top three sides.

Lazio recovered well from setbacks against Torino and Atalanta to hammer Crotone last time out and will now attempt to edge closer to Coppa Italia semis.

While head coach Simone Inzaghi is expected to ring some changes to his side, he is still going to field a strong starting line-up.

Felipe Anderson and Dusan Basta are tipped to start as they have recovered from injury, while Felipe Caicedo could get a chance up front.

Probable starting line-up (3-4-2-1): Strakosha – Bastos, De Vrij, Radu – Basta, Parolo, Lucas, Lulic – Anderson, Milinkovic-Savic – Caicedo.

Fiorentina did not enjoy the best of starts to the new season as they struggled to get going, but Viola have been showing a lot of improvement of late.

The Artemio Franchi outfit are unbeaten in last seven, and they managed to climb to eighth in the Serie A standings.

Following the last-gasp victory over Sampdoria in the previous stage, Fiorentina will be vying Lazio for a place in the Coppa Italia last four, and that is where they want to be, in the final stages of major competitions.

Viola have been flying high of late, winning three of last five matches on all fronts, and they will be looking to continue the rich vein of form.

Just like his Lazio counterpart, head coach Stefano Pioli will rest several regular starters, with Badelj, Simeone and Chiesa expected to start on the bench.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Dragowski – Laurini, Vitor Hugo, Astori, Biraghi – Veretout, Sanchez, Benassi – Saponara – Eysseric, Babacar.
