Everton winger Kevin Mirallas has reportedly had his medical in Italy ahead of a season-long loan deal with Fiorentina, according to Sky in Italy.

The Belgian winger will remain at the Stadio Artemio Franchi until the end of the 2018/19 campaign after falling down the pecking order under Marco Silva at Goodison Park.

He spent the second-half of last season on-loan at former club Olympiakos, making 15 appearances, scoring twice and providing two assists. In his time on Merseyside, the 30-year-old has made 186 appearances, netting 38 goals and creating a further 34 after joining in 2012.
Whilst in Italy, he will be competing with Federico Chiesa and Gerson for a place in the side.

Elsewhere, Mirallas’ former club have been busy in the transfer window. The Toffees have signed Lucas Digne and Richarlison from FC Barcelona and Watford respectively, whilst Wayne Rooney, Ashley Williams, Davy Klaassen, Ramiro Funes Mori and Joel Robles, amongst others, have departed Goodison.

According to the bookies, Silva is expected to still be busy in the closing days of the window. Everton are listed at 12/1 to sign Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes with BetVictor. Meanwhile, they are also favourites to sign Russian World Cup star Denis Cheryshev with odds of 5/1 available to back the Toffees snapping up the Villarreal man.
